Welcome to the new open source database built entirely in managed code on the Windows DotNet platform.

Based on PostgreSQL with full ACID Tables while using popular Microsoft T-SQL syntax – SQL.net is a low-cost alternative to SQL Server 2008. It has full support for foreign keys, joins, views, triggers, and stored procedures. It includes most SQL Server 2008 data types, including INTEGER, NUMERIC, BOOLEAN, CHAR, VARCHAR, DATE, INTERVAL, and TIMESTAMP.
